Reasons Of Gel Polish Peeling Off

1. Improper preparation of the nails

If the nail surface is not polished properly, the base coat cannot be completely combined with the nail surface.

Insufficient cleaning, grease, moisture or impurities on the nail surface will cause subsequent gel polish to separate from the nail surface.

2. Applying the gel polish in thick layers

When applying gel polish, remember to use it thinly. If the gel polish is applied too thickly, it will wrinkle easily and will not dry completely by uv led nail lamp.

3. Improper gel curing

Check the instructions on how long each coat needs to be cured. If the curing time is too short, the gel polish will not dry completely and peel off.

4. A base coat or top coat wasn't used

Gel polish won't stick to your nails without a proper base coat. Base coat protects nails and prevents them from falling off. Top coat makes your nail smoother and more beautiful.

5. The nail lamp is old

Old nail lamps don’t have the power to properly cure gel nails, which could then lead to gel polish lifting away from the nails.
