50G Pureform Nail Extension Gel-PF13(Rosy Mist)
onderful product; I teach nail techniques and highly recommend it.
I put off trying this poly gel for MONTHS because I’m a novice DIY nail tech doing my own nails at home, and the idea felt intimidating. But after watching a ton of tutorial videos and finally feeling confident enough to give it a shot (plus having a solid stash of nail forms ready to go), I finally took the leap.I am so glad I did. This is genuinely the next best thing to acrylic — the application was manageable even as a beginner, and the finished result looked salon-quality. If you’ve been on the fence like I was, don’t hesitate. Just get it.I’m already eyeing the other color options because this experience has officially made me a poly gel convert. Highly recommend for anyone ready to level up their at-home nail game.
Absolutely love this stuff! Probably the most convenient, manageable and beginner friendly nail product I've used in a long time. Can be used in nail forms or freehand application. Best applied with cured rubber base coat for ideal adhesion. Apply a topcoat when finished and Walla! Mine, on first try, have been on for nearly 3 weeks, hands and toes both.
I ordered the Pureform Poly Nail Gel 50g, HEMA & TPO Free, Nude Rose Nail Extension Gel for Professional Salon Use in the color "PF04-Bare Rose" by YOKE FELLOW because I've been dying to step into the world of nail extensions for a while now. I had to acquire the accessories to use this properly. Keep in mind I am brand new to this!YOKE FELLOW offers videos on their YT channel. The shorts are especially well done. A lot of their products seem beginner friendly, and I'm grateful I get to try nail gel from such a reputable brand. All of the colors in the Pureform Collection: PF01-PF07 are gorgeous. An assorted set for these would be amazing as they're pricy on their own.As for the formulation, YOKE FELLOW lists that this polygel is HEMA-free, TPO-free, and TMPTA-free. It's formulated to meet 9-free standards and not tested on animals.Since I don't have any slip solution, I resorted to using the isopropyl alcohol 70% which worked just fine. When I was able to get the perfect liquid content, the gel polish was very malleable and responded well to flash curing while I shaped it.Now a few things: this is my FIRST time ever using a buildable gel to form nails! My results aren't the prettiest, but I'm so excited to learn and get better at this trade. Secondly, I was testing dual sandwich forms at the same time as this gel polish, so that should explain the messiness. The tube is easy to use. The gel gathers around the lid and is easy to wipe off with a lint-free wipe. There is a decent amount of polish. I used my own gel base coat and top coat in combination.Absolutely beautiful, natural-looking nail color that looks just like the product photos. Excellent gel formula. I truly don't think the formula could be better! I had one bubble that smoothed itself out. Most of these products (which are brand new to me) have long, stringy bits that I'm still not used to dealing with. This gel had very little mozzarella stringing. I'm super impressed with it, and even though I could only manage two nails, I can't stop looking at them—they're perfect! One thing I need to get for myself is a nail drill. I was hoping one would show up on vine by now because they used to all the time, but alas... Due to not having proper equipment, an official nail set photo from me may have to wait. The underside of my nails are far too thick so they look goofy. But my gosh are they solid! These will not move! For now, hopefully I've helped showcase the Bare Rose a little bit. The white free edge of the nail is visible below the translucent polish and I think it's very pretty. This will be my go to for french tips when I obtain my accessories.
This definitely has a learning curve. You need to be comfortable with proper nail prep, controlling product placement (especially around the cuticles), and knowing how to manipulate the gel so it lays smooth and even.At first, I struggled. I felt confident in my prep, but I was able to pop the nails off pretty easily, which was frustrating. The gel is also very thick and sticky, which made it harder to work with initially. However, once I adjusted how I was using it, my opinion completely changed. Using nail form stickers made a huge difference—this was actually the first time I’ve been able to use them successfully. I also tried plastic forms and found this easier to work with than other poly gels I’ve used. The thickness ended up being a big advantage. It stays exactly where you place it, so you can build the nail slowly in thin layers without it running. With a slip solution (which I’d consider necessary), it becomes much easier to control and shape. What really stood out was the finish. I had zero bubbles, which is rare for me with gels. It cured quickly (60 seconds in my lamp), and the final result looked smoother and more professional than what I usually achieve. I also didn’t need to file or buff as much.Once cured, it feels very solid and durable—no noticeable flexibility, and it’s held up well without scratching or lifting. My set is almost a week old and still looks great. The tube is a good size, but the price is a bit higher than budget options. That said, the performance is noticeably better.Overall, this went from frustrating to one of my favorite poly gel formulas. It takes some technique, but once you get the hang of it, the results are really impressive.
